Seedlings: Pinecones Galore!

Look way up high and way down low. How many pinecones will we find? Explore the many different sizes and shapes of the pinecone and discover how they help evergreen trees grow.

Ages 3-6 years: Wednesday, November 6, 9:15 a.m., 10:30 a.m.

Ages 24-36 months: Thursday, November 7, 9:15 a.m. or 10:30 a.m.

Ages 18-24 months: Friday, November 8, 9:15 a.m. or 10:30 a.m.

 

Seedlings classes offer a fun, hands-on way for young children to explore the plant world while developing an understanding and appreciation for plants and their importance. Programs include stories, nature walks and art projects.

 

Program Location: Depending on the weather and program topic, seedlings programs could take place indoors, outdoors or a combination of both. Participants should come prepared to spend time both indoors and outdoors.

 

Audience: Families with children ages 18 months to 6 years

 

Program Fee: $12 per toddler/preschooler, $10 per toddler/preschooler member; one adult per child is admitted free of charge. Additional adults and non-participating siblings should purchase or reserve general admission tickets.

 

Cancellations: Cancellations more than one week prior to a class are subject to a 15% cancellation fee. Cancellations with less than one week's notice are non-refundable.
