Botanical Illustration for Beginners

Start your botanical illustration journey here! This class is a window into the methods and materials used in botanical illustration. Students receive a brief overview of the history and techniques used to create precise renderings with scientific value. Take a flower apart and look closely to learn multi-sensory, basic botany. Simple drawing exercises will use graphite, colored pencil, watercolor and micron pens. No art experience required.
